To struggle in
order to Brazilian government breaks the neoliberal ideas
Communist Party of Brazil – PCdoB – 83rd Anniversary of Foundation
Although a strong rain was falling in São Paulo City last Friday night, March
18th, the auditorium was very small to the communist militancy present at the
activity to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the Communist Part of Brazil –
PCdoB to be completed next March 25th, 2005. With more than five hundred people
and a show of the Symphonic Band of Sumaré it was started the ceremony to
celebrate the 83rd anniversary of PCdoB and to renew the its commitment with new
political and ideological challenges.
The central activity of this celebration it was the lecture did by Renato
Rabelo, National President of our Party, in which were presented the themes to
be discussed at 11th National Congress of PCdoB to be held October 20-23, 2005,
in Brasília, capital of Brazil.
Renato Rabelo has stressed the need of PCdoB to have a better clearness in its
strategic project and affirmed that the struggle against neoliberalism remains
as a core of communists challenges to reach their major objectives. Talking
about Lula’s government, Renato has detached the important successes it have got,
as the interruption of privatization process and the Brazilian position in
relation to FTTA. But he has affirmed the government’s macro-economics politics
is not breaking central ideas o neoliberalism and it is necessary a lot of
struggle to promote this new rupture.
After the Renato Rabelo’speech other comrades of PCdo B’s leadership have talked.
The activity was closed with the sound of “ The International”.
